Brad Perkins, born and raised in Portland, Oregon, is co-owner and
President/CEO of Cascadia High Speed Rail, LLC. Since 2004, he has
owned and operated Perkins Realty, a commercial real estate company that
has amassed multiple properties for the development of successful public
and private mixed-used projects. He previously owned Preservation
Development Company, which specialized in facilitating the relocation and
restoration of historic properties.
Perkins is a University of Oregon graduate in Architecture and world
traveler with a focus on photography and studying diverse urban planning
and transportation systems. He has over 40 years’ leadership in land use,
housing, bike trail and high-speed rail planning. Dedicated to community
activism, he has either founded or been involved in the following non-profit
